ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 14 — The Regional Medical Center at Memphis (The MED) of Memphis, Tenn., has purchased Carestream Health’s Vue RIS with embedded voice recognition to achieve more efficient scheduling and reporting for all radiology exams including mammography.

The MED recently upgraded its CARESTREAM Vue PACS to obtain vendor-neutral archiving and innovative reading tools including automatic registration for volumetric exams and other advanced features that are available to any authorized user at any location. Vue PACS delivers a host of productivity-enhancing features and its open architecture interfaces easily with other clinical systems including EHR/EMR platforms.
