Radiology Image Challenge – What is it?

This was a fantastic month of guesses for our Image Challenge. The back to school bag proved to be tricky! So…what were the 11 items?
- Pen
- Hole punch
- Battery-powered pencil sharpener (This was the tough one!)
- Stapler
- Calculator
- Glasses in a case
- Lifesavers (This is the one people didn’t see!)
- Correction fluid
- Tape dispenser
- Mechanical pencils
- Hair pins
Because this month’s image was so tough, we’ll randomly select one of the participants to receive a mug. Check your email, everyone!

This month’s challenge runs until November 7. The first person to correctly identify the subject of the x-ray will be the winner.

I think it’s a cantelope.

I think its a pomegranate, mango, or a honey dew melon. It’s not a pumpkin because the outside is too smooth. It’s not a cantaloupe because it has no rind. Pumpkin would be the obvious choice because it is October. It’s a fruit with a seeded core that is smooth with no outer rind. I think its a pomegranate, mango, or a honey dew melon.

After just seeing an actual image of a pumpkin, it could be a very small pumpkin. They do come in all shapes and sizes, but i’m going to stick with my gut and say its a pomegranate, mango, or a honey dew melon.

Is there an answer to the image challenge for October yet? Also, is there a new image for November yet? I can’t seem to find a link for it yet…Please advise.

At the RSNA in Chicago at the McCormick Center? I go every year, that’s awesome! I have never noticed your company there before. Do you know what your booth number is or in what exhibit wing you will be hosting in this November? Is there going to be a prize or raffle for the live image challenge at the RSNA?
