BioMax TranScreen LE
BioMax TranScreen LE (low energy) is the first intensifying screen designed to be used with medium and low energy beta isotopes i.e. 35 S, 33 P, 14 C, 45 Ca, 59 Fe, & 3 H. The BioMax TranScreen LE can achieve a 0.301 OD (medium) image 5 to 35 times faster than direct autoradiography for detection of low energy radioisotopes. The BioMax TranScreen LE also offers better sensitivity and resolution than Fluorography, eliminating toxic fluorochromes.

Testimonials
"To be able to visualize a DNA sequencing ladder within 2 hours is a tremendous breakthrough, and will be a real time saving factor in our experiments!"
Dr. Sarah D Orazio, Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA
"Very fast system, much shorter exposure times!"
William Burke, Department of Biology, University of Rochester, New York, USA.
"Higher sensitivity, better for low count samples!"
Jianming Xu, Department of Cell Biology, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, USA.
"I was quite impressed with the sensitivity of the BioMax TranScreen/BioMax MS film combination, and the dramatically reduced exposure time. In our laboratory, there are many circumstances in which it would be extremely useful to run a DNA sequencing gel in the morning and see the results only 2 hours later!"
Dr. Sarah D Orazio, Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
"Fast results, much shorter exposure times!"
Vivienne Woods, Department of Physiological Sciences, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA.

Both versions of the TranScreen screen system will provide increased sensitivity when used with any film. However, the BioMax TranScreen systems have been optimized to provide the greatest sensitivity when used with the BioMax MS film and BioMax Cassette . As with conventional intensifying screens, the BioMax TranScreen screen systems must be used at -60 to -70 C to reduce latent image fading.
